MADE TO ORDER MANDRELS
Superior will custom make mandrels for your special or
unusual honing job. All you have to do is send us your
prints, specifications, and samples if possible. Tell us what
machine you are using and we'll do the rest.
If required, we will build extra mandrels and stock
them for you.

Mandrels can be made for:
1. Honing long, small diameter tubes, with tooling bores
down to .090" dia. (2.29mm)
2. Fast stock removal in cylinder bores. Designed with
universal joint, hone guides, and automatic sizing.
3. Short bores or tubes, or for through bores and blind
end bores from .625" (15.87mm) and up.
4. Tandem tooling for interrupted bores, multi-part stack
honing and long, small tubes such as gun barrels.
Tubing tool design that provieds 30% more abrasive live can be
made for bores of any length and diameter and to fit any drive
shaft or machine.
