IN STOCK MANDRELS
Our well known system of simplified mandrels is designed for Superior
Hones' basic hones and can also be used with our power honing machines.
Off the shelf mandrels are less expensive than specials and come in a
wide variety of sizes. (See chart for available off-the-shelf sizes)
CUSTOMER SPECIALS
If desired, you can have a "standard" built to your specification. We will
manufacture the desired quantity and we will stock it until needed.
Ask about setting up your own "off-the-shelf" program.
IN PROCESS GAUGING
Superior has available gauging systems for tracking
sizing and honing. The system can track production
honing accuracy to within .0002" (.005mm).
These controls fit all Superior vertical and
horizontal machines and all other makes of vertical
machines.
Superior also has automatic feed timers
available.
